YOUTH SERVICES- The library will offer and emphasize programming, collections and services specifically designed for youth of all ages; babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, grade school age children, and teens.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The San Miguel County Public Library District #1 is dedicated to every individual’s freedom to pursue knowledge by providing equal access to information resources through a variety of media and services.
In 2006, library district residents came together in five different focus groups to share their ideas for improving library service. The result is an eighteen page planning document. Here’s a brief overview of where we’re headed.
