    Join us for an afterschool bike maintenance event!     Join us as we host renowned locals, Keith Hill and Edgar Quiroz for an instructional presentation on how to market yourself.  They will discuss how they make money to support themselves throughout the year, and present entrepreneurial strategies for you to begin doing the same.  The program will take place on June 3rd at 3:45 in the Wilkinson Public Library program room302373_4745302191093_414289552_n.jpg.  

Every week the teen department at the Wilkinson Public Library conducts after school activities for everyone to enjoy.  From cooking club to hip hop workshops there is something for everyone.  Check back here to get a complete list of events and scheduled programs. 

Teen First Aid with CPR & AED Training June 8th 9:00-5:00

Join us as Kevin Dunkak and CPR World teach the basics of First Aid, CPR, and the use of an AED to help save lives.  This is a 2 yr. cerftication course through the American Heart Association (AHA).  This course is perfect for any teen interested in babysitting, extreme sports, or learning the most basic care for a future in outdoor education or medical training.  The course will take place in the Wilkinson Public Library program room on June 8th from 9:00-5:00.  The fee for the course is $20 (normally $100), which can be paid at the Teen Department at Wilkinson Public Library.  Space is limited! Lunch will be included.  This course is offered at a discounted rate through a collaboration between WPL and the Rotary Club.
